United Auctioneers & Appraisers LLC was founded in 1990 to serve the heavy equipment and trucking industries in the upper Midwest. Primarily, the company specializes in conducting equipment auctions and appraisals in heavy construction, trucking, road and bridge, transit mix, asphalt, aggregate, concrete production, forestry, lifting/material handling, transportation, utility power underground, boring and jacking, masonry, electrical construction. The company has also served clients in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court both Eastern and Western Divisions. Our firm has also been a Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) prequal equipment appraiser since 1990. Since conception auctions are held on an unreserved basis, meaning there are no minimum bids or reserved prices. The owner/consignor is forbidden by contract from bidding on his equipment in an effort to manipulate or "buy back" the equipment. This unwavering commitment to the unreserved auction process is the very hallmark of United Auctioneers & Appraisers commitment to provide good, clean, fair auctions for everyone.

Each piece of equipment is fully described including hours, mileage, serial number, undercarriage condition, percentage of tire wear, glass, seats, special features of the machine, and over all condition. Also we note any exterior damage, excessive part wear, or any missing components. In essence we are your "eyes and ears" in the field. Each piece viewed is photographed and laser printed in full color, which is incorporated into your appraisal booklet, so lenders, MDOT, you, and all those who appreciate quality can view the equipment. Our company was the first in Michigan to pioneer and provide this type of equipment appraisal.
